Media Relations Intern

January 2007 to August 2007

I assisted the Director of Media Relations with game day responsibilities: writing the program insert, distributing lineups and stats to media and coaches, and updating the website after each game. I also wrote some press releases and game stories, as well as producing the radio broadcast of many road games. I assisted in the development of the second run of our 2007 pocket schedule. I also served as the merchandise intern. I fulfilled online orders, ordered new merchandise and kept the team store stocked. I also worked in the team store during most games. Other duties included: selling tickets, working in the ticket office, distributing pocket schedules and making public appearances as the mascot.
