About Me
In my career, I have excelled as lead writer for in-house marketing and communications teams in the agriculture, real estate and event industries in for-profit and non-profit organizations.
A typical day in my career would see me scheduling engaging and informative social media posts, preparing talking points for a company leader’s media interview, writing 800-word advertorials for luxury real estate listings, blogging about my first paddleboarding experience for a lake lifestyle website and pitching national financial news outlets on the success of a family-owned real estate empire.
I have prepared annual reports for non-profits, refreshed website content to maximize search engine results, created revenue opportunities through podcast sponsorships and lent my voice to their production, served as media spokesperson on radio and television and created rules and regulations for a $30,000 wedding giveaway that would satisfy even the most fault-finding of corporate lawyers.
As these outward, consumer-facing projects continued, I worked on internal “how-to” documents to serve as guides for my coworkers and successors, monitored company media mentions and evaluated webpage viewership and email open rates to gauge content effectiveness.
